History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Tethren is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tethren was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family
