History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Skak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fabien embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Fabien was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fabien fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses like a well dressed Apothecary does. He wears his brown hair up. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to be a detective again
