Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, marred by chocolates. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Baern alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Baern was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a black cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. His silver hair, when down, is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hand crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and he feels threatened by others

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and to find somewhere to settle down
