History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Astar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
