History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Melech's homeland. Melech decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kaladan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stylist. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dragonborn people.
