Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. River was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: He was born into a rich family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption
