History: Alvyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Miner. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Mâku was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
