Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
