History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He takes great joy in being the best Apothecary in town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
