History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Kriv enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Kriv was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Rathkran hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Rathkran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of orcs
