History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Thakrak's homeland. Thakrak decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
