Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in a small island village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Spring took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
