The war was a terrible time for him, and Heian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Heian studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Heian took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Veit was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is fixated on the number 85. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he's looking for his big break
