Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alvyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Alvyn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alvyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Alvyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rendar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Rendar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Aldous was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
