Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His skin is also unnaturally pale. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Gerald reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.
