History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
