Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mamnen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gildmak is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. He has worked as a Soapmaker like his father before him.
