History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Description: This malnourished man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
