History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Umpen was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Merchant. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Servant who has hired him part-time. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
