Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Gennal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gennal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gennal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
