History: Gifted from a young age, Patrick studied abroad. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oppleby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
