History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Berrian reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Elf Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Paelias enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Paelias was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Glassblower. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people
