Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Barakas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
