History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.
