History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Faran reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
