History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Roger liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a Baker soon after.
