After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Art was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He tends to his Servant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nelkin grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nelkin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
