His amber eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker blue hat.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Priest but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Ortegar was taken on many hunting expeditions. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother.
