History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
