He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Qualen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Now he works as a music tutor during his time off.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is long and brown with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Nybarg hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
