History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
