Description: He stands about 5'4" and has a large violet mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Hugh's homeland. Hugh decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is cut close to his head. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thorin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to be a bricklayer again

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his ceremonial dagger. He has done his best to style his red fur to look like a famous performer. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it
