History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He has worked as a Mercenary like his mother before him.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the south to a Body Guard, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but he was a colossal failure. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
