History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Diggory was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
