History: He was born in a small forest village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Burto grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Burto. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arumawann embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Arumawann was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Arumawann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Umpen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
