Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and usually wears his black robe and has his warhammer always slung over his shoulder. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair is knotted and matted. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Jak has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Jak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears just a black suit. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Aust was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aust decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Stableman born in the past three hundred years. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
