Personality: Cockaby hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gale never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
