History: Godfrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
