Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Burgell was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shamash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shamash was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
