Description: This slender man stands about 5'4". He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He prefers to wear flannel. His silver hair is braided into rings. His eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels threatened by others

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Everard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Everard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: This northern man wears silk and lounges about seductively. His clothes are grease stained in places. His scarlet crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His eyes are gold and catlike.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norkruuth grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Norkruuth was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Norkruuth's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends
