History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mayor father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Heskan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is long and red with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
