The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Conrad was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
