After coming to the age of reason, Ûshbaka took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has worked as a Weaver like his father before him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
