Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear flannel. He has wavy green crest. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sammal hails from a village terrorized by drow. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his trident, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His white fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His ears are large.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
