History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
