Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Body Guard job and began his own company from there.
