History: Art lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

Personality: Barendd hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
