History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Being a Shipwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Eldon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.
