Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'7". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longbow. He has no hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Varis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents enrolled him in a Rogue school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He became a Spy soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Shadow was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shadow's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
