Personality: He is fixated on the number 81. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He takes great joy in being the best Navigator in town.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Varis was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
